William Paterson University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences held its second annual career readiness program, “Aspire,” tailored to students with majors in the College, on August 14 and 15, 2019.
Partner Alex Malino serves as an Advisory Board Member for William Paterson University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Mr. Malino had the honor of attending the Aspire program, meeting COHSS students, sharing some of his experiences and offering advice. Giving back with money and time helps support the next generation of students and alumni. It is important not to forget that our time is valuable and can be almost as important as any donation we make to our alma maters.
Today’s most inspiring leaders excel as communicators, problem solvers and critical thinkers; skills that are cultivated as a student in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (COHSS) at William Paterson University. The University’s COHSS provides insight into the past and explores solutions for the future, enabling our students to build careers, pursue advanced academic studies, and empower positive change.
Over the course of the two days, COHSS students explored career interests and goals and connected with WP alumni and industry leaders through activities and career treks designed to prepare students for life after William Paterson. The first day of the program took place on campus and the second day, the students visited ADP headquarters.
