Mr. Downes’ practice focuses on mass tort, toxic and general liability matters. He represents a variety of entities and individuals in defending complex claims with potentially high exposures. He has experience in all stages of litigation from inception, through discovery, motion practice and trial. Mr. Downes works vigorously to defend the rights and interests of his clients.
As a law student, Mr. Downes served on the staff of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics as an editor. Mr. Downes was published in the Fall 2013 edition of the Journal as a student contributor, for the note “Does the ABA Promote Democracy In America?” 26 Geo. J. Legal Ethics 645 (2013).
